DNF got about half way through before I got bored with Shay's attitude to everything. This story needed a fun impulsive woman to lead it not a cry baby virgin.

This is the first book in the Tin Gods Rock Star series and I’m already captivated and committed to reading every future book. This first book is band frontman Chase’s love story. It wasn’t at all what I expected. Despite the premise this isn’t an instalove romance nor is it a marriage of convenience. The way they end up marrying the night they meet and how they move forward afterwards is so interesting and believable. Polar opposites in almost every way, neither of them were perfect. Shay had a lot of issues due to her less than wonderful family and upbringing and was incredibly naive for someone so intelligent and educated. Chase seemed like the stereotypical rockstar, drinking, groupies, etc, and while I initially liked him that soured as time went by and he showed how much he still needed to grow up. He was interesting to watch because subconsciously he wanted to do the right thing but his conscious mind and habits were constantly leading him astray.
