The book provides clear guidance to the clinicians to diagnosis and manage the varied forms of abdominal tuberculosis. The chapters also touch on areas of controversy and confusion. Dr Vishal Sharma is an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. He joined the institute after his initial medical training at the University college of Medical Sciences, Delhi. His research interests are in the field of Inflammatory bowel diseases and Gastrointestinal Tuberculosis. He has authored more than 325 peer reviewed papers and serves on editorial board of many journals. He has received the Dr SR Naik Memorial Award and Dr Om Prakash Memorial awards of Indian Society for Gastroenterology and Smt Pawan Kumari Jain award and Dr MJ Shah memorial award of the Association of Physicians of India.
