About this ebook

This volume contains Dead to Rights & Dead Reckoning

Dead to Rights

When a congressman's wife is murdered, Jamie and Jack find themselves in the crosshairs of dirty cops and political plays.

Someone had killed Melly Warren. Melly herself had let them know when Mike brought her to meet Jack and Jamie.

Melly really hoped Mike and his friends could help, because her children didn’t have her to protect them anymore. Her teenaged twins had no idea how dangerous their father truly could be.

Melly needed Mike to help before the twins learned that the monster wasn’t under the bed – he was in the master bedroom.

“When being a cop meant you were as at risk from those in uniform as you were from those out of it, it stopped being about protecting and serving the community and became about surviving the job. – But this is our home, and if we let them run us off, we’re letting them win.”

How high does the corruption go? How many will they kill to keep them silent?

And what do you do when the threats are coming from inside the house? Different kinds of ghosts show up and the team learns that some of those from the other side are just as evil dead as they are alive.

It’s going to take everything they’ve got for Jack, Jamie, and Mike to keep those they consider family, safe.

Dead Reckoning

Jack and Jamie knew that being a voice for the dead was risky, but they didn’t expect the Watchers.

Working undercover for the new commissioner, Jack and Jamie have a lot to juggle.

They’ve been tasked with rooting out which remaining Harbor Police Department cops are criminals, while working as private investigators and a mass casualty event right in the middle of a downtown park brings out all kinds of people – including a large number of ghosts from those that died too soon and in a horrific way.

Who set the bombs and killed people in their town?

Suspicion is that the attack was both homegrown and local organized crime.

Sister Mary Robert had warned them. “I told you that you and your friends had a gift and were helping to bring peace to those whose lives were ended too soon. I also told you that there were those out there who didn’t want you to be able to help them find justice. Those people also have the ability to speak with the dead and they can make things difficult.”

The Watchers make the lives of the living, hell – and banish the dead to oblivion. The team is fighting both living and dead enemies and finding answers is harder than ever before.
