About this ebook

U.S. Marshal Charlie Harlow has kicked in a hundred doors, but this time, it cost him a friend...

Now the Justice Department wants answers, and Charlie is under the microscope.

Haunted by guilt and regret, he throws himself into a new case: tracking a fugitive hiding out on his girlfriend’s quiet horse farm.

It should be routine.

It never is.

When his partner is taken hostage, Charlie is thrust into a relentless chase. Outgunned, outnumbered, and carrying the weight of his mistakes, he’ll do whatever it takes to save her.

But another fight waits at home.

His marriage is over. The divorce papers sit unsigned. And there’s one final door left to walk through, if he has the courage.

But Charlie’s reckless pursuit of justice might cost him everything, including the one person he cares about most.
