Rose Red

This whole book series is worth reading. As the first, Rose Red holds a special place in my heart. I enjoyed how the events in the book also get mentioned and make a difference in the lives of future Sleeping Beauty, Inc. models. Stephanie Van Orman takes a story premise that could be dark, shocking, and covered in smut and instead presents it with grace and true storytelling magic.

It is an amazing read, with funny, loving and weird characters. This story is well written, and the author obviously knows what she's talking about, I got to put my microbiology skills to use and I enjoyed it. Loved the plot and I love how original Stephanie's story plots always are. All I have to say is: Where can I get my own Harrison Fox? Sweet, funny, unique. I loved Harrison and Paige’s down-to-earth relationship and how they formed a genuine friendship despite the less than ideal situation. Enjoyable the whole way through, from Paige thinking Harrison might be a serial killer, to their first kiss. It’s refreshing to find a clean, wholesome romance with an interesting storyline.
