About the author

Dr Manoj A. Kumbhalkar is an accomplished academician and researcher serving as an Associate Professor & Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Jayawantrao Sawant Polytechnic and Management (JSPM), Narhe Technical Campus, Pune, India. With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, India, he possesses over 17 years of teaching and training experience.

Dr Kumbhalkar is recognized for his expertise in Machine Design, Finite Element Analysis, Computer-Aided Design, Vibration, and Biomechanics. As a PhD Guide and PG Teacher at Savitribai Phule Pune University, he has published over 48 journal papers, including 33 Scopus-indexed and 3 SCI articles, and has authored 5 books.

He has made significant contributions to academia through his roles as an Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Analytical, Experimental and Finite Element Analysis, Editorial Board member of Scientific Report Journal, guest editor, technical committee member, and international reviewer for reputed journals and conferences. His dedication to bridging the gap between industry and academia is evident through his successful leadership in organizing workshops, technical symposiums, and obtaining industry-sponsored projects.
