About the author

Dr. Aboubakr El Hammoumi is a Professor of Embedded Systems at École Supérieure de Technologie, Abdelmalek Essaâdi University, Tétouan, Morocco. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing from École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, Mohammed V University of Rabat, in 2014, and an M.S. degree in Automatic, Signal Processing and Industrial Computing from Faculté des Sciences et Techniques, Hassan 1st University, Settat, in 2016. He continued his studies and earned a PhD in Embedded Systems from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, in February 2022. Dr. El Hammoumi has authored numerous publications, primarily focusing on photovoltaic solar energy optimisation and embedded systems, and has contributed to patented innovative projects. In addition to this, he is a reviewer for several journals and has been associated with many international conferences as a member of the program committee, advisory board, or reading committee.

Dr. Saad Motahhir (Eng., PhD, AGYA Member) is a Professor and Director of the Applied Sciences and Innovative Technologies Laboratory (LSATI) at ENSA, SMBA University, Fez, Morocco, with extensive expertise in embedded systems and renewable energy technologies. He previously worked as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Zodiac Aerospace Morocco (2014–2019), holds an engineering degree in Embedded Systems from ENSA Fez (2014), and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from SMBA University (2018). Dr. Motahhir has authored numerous publications, primarily focusing on photovoltaic solar energy optimisation and embedded systems, and has contributed to patented innovative projects. He is a book series editor for IET and Taylor & Francis, a guest editor for special journal issues, and serves on editorial boards and as a reviewer for various journals. Additionally, he is the Conference Co-chair of ICDTA, a member of the Arab Youth Center Council and AGYA, and has led work packages in European projects while acting as an expert and consultant for European and national initiatives.
