A case so shocking it will push DI Kelly Porter to her very limits

On a peaceful summer's morning in the Lake District, a woman's body is discovered outside a church. Left naked and exposed to the elements, her fingertips have been removed and her mouth stuffed with soil. A methodical but unhinged killer has arranged symbolic clues in the most brutal ways.

DI Kelly Porter must decode this motive and bring the perpetrator to justice. But as more deaths occur, time is running out for Kelly to put the puzzle pieces together before the danger comes too close to home...

A solid second installment of the DI Kelly Porter series. I enjoyed this book more than I enjoyed Dark Game. It's a worthwhile story with plenty of twists to leave you scratching your head. Would recommend this book to my friends.

When I read a crime / mystery novel I expect a bit more intellect and less foul language. And what in the world is a fell? No descriptions to give the reader some idea of what she's referring to.This author just not for me.
