Jessica Patch combines enthralling suspense with a clean second-chance romance for an excellent read in Cold Case Double Cross. She ties a murder mystery with a learning disability and a once bitten, twice shy attitude to set up this exciting story featuring detective Cash Ryland and MBI Agent Mae Vogel. Cash's and Mae's struggles give them a depth of character that helps the reader really care what happens to them. I love the themes of forgiveness and reconciliation in this book. I highly recommend this to readers of clean and of inspirational romantic suspense. You won't be disappointed, but you may stay up past your bedtime!
