About this ebook

Honour delivered through steel

Ireland in 841 AD is a country beset by the spectre of Viking raids. Haunted by the shadow of his father’s mysterious death and his tarnished legacy, Finn was consumed by suspicion, convinced of the king's treachery. A bitter rivalry with the king’s son has festered over the years. After a failed bet left Finn indebted to the prince, he could not predict what awaited him. As Vikings ravaged their shores, the prince sent him on a dangerous mission against the invaders to repay the debt.

Amidst a web of treachery and deceit, Finn unearths the dark truths of his father's demise, the prince's malevolent schemes and Viking intentions for Hibernia. Caught in a storm of rivalry, redemption, and brutal warfare, Finn must confront his deepest fears and fight for justice for his family and homeland.

Join Finn on a gripping journey in "Viking Dawn," the first book in the ‘Masters of Chaos’ series, where courage is tested, alliances are fragile, and the echoes of war influence every decision.

A Family Affair. The Viking world of plunder and intrigue is not for the faint hearted. I really liked how the story revolves around Finn and his family. Watching different factions invade the land or try to maneuver for greater political gain insured the story never had a dull moment. Hearing parts of the story from various points of view allowed greater insight to motivation and potential treachery on the horizon. With some initial hurdles overcome, Finn and his family have more in store!
