Unfortunately, it was a bad experience from the beginning, as taking a picture of my ID document never worked, even after several different attempts.

It wouldn't register. Wouldn't tell you what the problem was. Wouldn't recognize face and you have no way to talk to a customer service representative. All in all a bad experience with lebara. I recommend do not buy this sime card especially if yoh are a traveller and don't have means to go to a lebara shop just to try activate the sim card.
