The calculator can calculate how much yarn you will need for a pattern and how many skeins/balls that will be, based on your pattern requirements. Various units are supported (yard, metres, grams, ounces).

This simple, intuitive, and easy to use calculator also gives you a way to increase or decrease the number of stitches evenly in your knitting.
Simply input the number of current stitches and the number of stitches you want to increase or decrease by and the calculator will give you two methods you can choose from. The first method is typically easier to knit but the second gives you a more balanced increase or decrease.
