I like maps. that's nice. and it works well. but I have a huge problem that drives me crazy every time I'm trying to listen to music or a podcast on YouTube or any other app. when I changed the volume, it pauses my app and goes over to YouTube music or to Spotify. whichever one is like the default player. it makes me so angry. when I have an app on and I'm listening to it, I obviously don't want it to automatically switch to a different app when I change the volume.

CONSTANTLY losing my phone on Android auto! I have a Samsung Note 20. It's 50/50 hit or miss if my phone and truck are going to sync up using android Auto each time I get in the truck! When it doesn't connect, I have to go through about 20 minutes of fiddling to get it to work again! And even then, it's hit or miss if it's going to be choppy or not, audio constantly cutting out, maps lag, even just switching between functions can take several minutes. Disappointment to say the least.

needs to have a setting to ask for permission to connect. I regularly drive in convoy and everyone's phones keep automatically connecting to the other vehicles when they get close. you'll be in a group call with your driver's, then suddenly 1 persons phone (usually mine) connects and takes over all the other cars Android auto so I'm on the phone with 8 other versions of me. please fix! madness that 1 phone will connect to multiple cars, especially when already setup and actively in use.
