This game is absolutely a play-ads-to-win model. Progress feels nearly impossible without watching ads. Characters require tons of coins and gems to level up, and the only consistent way to earn them is by watching the double-coin ads after each round. I’ve probably watched 100 ads so far. Thankfully, they’re not terrible, usually 30 seconds and only one or two taps. The gameplay is fun, but without ads, you’ll hit a wall quickly. Be prepared to grind or pay.

A great offline game to kill some time. The rewards could be higher if you complete waves without losing a heart. There's nothing to state what new cogs do without trying them, but I guess experimenting is partly fun. Having had the game about 2 weeks and played more than I should, I've not spent any money at all, but have now hit a bug that freezes the game at the exact same spot each time. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon, so I can keep playing.

was a really fun game at first but by the 3rd location i stopped losing entirely and the game became mindless rinse repeat. after 2 days playing i had unlocked every player upgrade. ads crash the game often so having items for sale blocked by an ad was super annoying. every level is exactly the same, yawn. no endless mode. daily rewards are worthless because this game makes the same mistake as others, leveling up doesn't need to keep costing more if rewards don't increase constantly.
