To be honest, I prefer the previous editing screen before the last update. The black frame for the cropping confuses me when editing a screenshot from Instagram because with that frame, I can't tell where the frame is, from where the picture of the post begins / ends. so it's hard to crop. My second problem is that when I "enhance" a picture, I'd like to go to the lighting / color settings to see what I can fix when I don't like what was enhanced. But thanks for keeping video editing the same.

After the latest update it's a far worse app. With the Ai tools you used to get multiple options to chose from, now you just get one and it's always far worse then it used to be. For instance, when I try to erase a person in the background, it now just replaces the person with a new Ai generated person! Also other features have tons of bugs, such as adding photos to an albums, which oftentimes doesn't work at all!

It's great to back up photos and albums in full quality. There are some slight frustrating bits to it though like the fact that you don't have the option to set the photos by last edited or modified. Other than that I love it, I use it to display my professional photos to my clients and it's easy for everyone to view and download the full quality album. update: if you search for recently added you can see the images that were more recently added to Google photos even if they were taken earlier
