Recently the APP stopped working. It complains that my car is offline and as such it can't do anything (even while in being in the car). Given that I'm paying (big time) for this 'service' I only rate it with two stars. I expected a lot more from a company with the stature of Volvo. If you even get this simple app to work properly I get a very low level of trust for the rest of the software in the car.

Works well when it lets you log in, which is only 10% of the time. Other 90% is either being told your login info is wrong (it's not) or it just hangs in the Signing in screen. I had to delete/reinstall the app AND reset my password just to get it to let me back in, even though my PW never changed... Update 2023... Just as terrible. It can easily tell when the car is in use or not but starting it remotely, even standing right beside it, is next to an impossible task for Volvo. Update 2025: same.

Since the last update, 1) The time left to complete charging is always showing as midnight ( 0000 or 0015 or 0020 ). It's very confusing. 2) Driving Journal stopped updating. It shows the last entry with a date before the OTA update. 3) App shows car is offline for many hours even after the car is started. 4) No internet access ( no connectivity ) for a few hours. This is very inconvenient especially when the Maps don't work.
