Super Dark Deception is a fun retro take on the hit horror game, Dark Deception! You are trapped in a dark realm full of mazes inhabited by nightmarish monsters and there's nowhere to hide. Run or die - the choice is yours!
This is a free demo of the first level in Super Dark Deception.
The full game of Super Dark Deception features:
- Beautiful hand-drawn 2D pixel art that gives a classic 16-bit SNES RPG look and feel.
- Power System: Earn XP and unlock powers as you progress that will allow you to even the odds and survive longer against horrendous creatures.
- Fast-paced Arcade Horror: Run for your life and run fast. Enemies can be stunned and avoided, but not killed.
- Hazardous Environments: Enemies are not the only danger. The mazes themselves are full of traps, hazards, and other dangers to watch out for.
- Unique Enemies: Every nightmare presents a unique creature that has its own distinct AI. Players will have to change up their tactics in order to survive.

I love this demo, the pixelated graphics and the gameplay, it was challenging but not too hard. I was a fan of dark deception way back when the first chapter of the PC game was out. I hope this game can become a full out game and not forever stuck in limbo =). (Note; I found out the full version is up now and I'm happy that it is. now I have something on my wishlist :>)

The game is fun, great to play when on the go. However, there is something that is wrong with it imo... The difficulty is kinda crazy; the Monkeys will almost always corner you and while normally that would be no problem. There isn't any counter to this, you can't evade them or lose them so you'll get chased around until you reach a corner or hallway and then be killed, so you can imagine why it's quite frustrating. If there is a way to fix this that'll be amazing... And then I'll rate 5/5

I enjoyed the game so far. I never thought I would actually play a game that only people who has computers can play. Although the game is 2D and not 3D, it still has the same vibes compared to the PC version. No bugs encountered though. The AI of the game is smart and it should be AI MUST BE SMART when the demo is finished. Regardless, it's a playable, challenging game that you might find it enjoyable.
